Oh that peacock colorway is Gorgeous!!! Fed Ex is terrible! I myself have had good service from UPS and USPS. I can totally understand why you are all in your feels! That is such a special bonding time for Momma and baby. I myself only got to nurse my babies for a few months each; I hated pumping!!! I couldn't ever get more than a couple ounces pumping no matter what type of pump I used, it didn't make any difference. With my son I had to add formula on top of pumping as my milk didn't have the calories he needed but he still needed the antibodies and such breast milk provided. I felt like all I got done was feeding him, as after he nursed I'd have to give him a bottle. I didn't have an abundance of milk either. Prayers for you and Noah!

Hannah it will be ok you are a good mom and Noah will be healthy big boy soon. My grandson had to drink a special formula that cost $40 a can and hard to find because his milk allergy. When this is over treat yourself to a great meal that you couldn't eat before!!!!

I agree with you on USPS! I will take them every. time. UPS is the one I loathe. So many times, I'll see that my package is sitting in their distribution center for at least 5 days, before it moves on to a truck. Grrrrrrr! Glad you have found a solution for Noah!

I’m sharing your excitement about sweater projects, I have three on the go (plus other WIPs of course) and really am enjoying them, one includes steeking 🫣. I have not found my sock-knitting-sweet-spot, I get ladders with dpn’s, 9” circs hurt my hands, and I do not like magic loop - next experiment will be the traveling loop method 🤞🏽🤞🏽. All of your projects are lovely - as a fellow Star Wars fan I really appreciate that bag. Have a great two weeks! Here is a suggestion my má (my great grandma) made to her friend when her baby years ago didn't get full on milk and help her keep her full. I wonder if it will help Noah gain wait. She suggested adding a bit of baby cereal to milk. I wonder if you can find a cereal he can eat and see if it works. This is just a suggestion from stories she has told me and I thought of it. It's just an idea.... Ps. I too have that wonder women shawl and always put it off. I think when I get done with current projects I too will take the pattern out to work with😊

I *ran* to Hooks and Needles the day you showed their box the first time, and signed up. I've gotten 2 boxes now, and they're *wonderful*. Use them all the time! I'm eager to see what you make with the purple and mauve yarn. I like the idea of making the purse with acrylic yarn. So pleased that Noah has gained weight and that FedEx came through for you. (FedEx for you is the equivalent of DPD for me - UK based. I would say 1 in 4 of their deliveries arrives without issue.). I’m sure Nova will love school. I started school at 4yr and 2wks and loved it. Try and remember in your anxiety that Noah won’t remember any of these difficulties and as he grows up he’ll see a family who love him and always try to do the best by him and his sister.

I agree with you on FedEx, so many problems with them I have. I also have problems with USPS, but it sounds like the experience might vary from state to state because I have so many problems with them that are similar to FedEx. Super excited for Nova getting into preK. She is going to blossom so much! I am hoping that your Noah Feeding Journey is coming to a good place now for you both. I know it's been hard for you (and Noah) and I know you've done your absolute best. Is your milk eligible for donation to a milk bank? I'm sure you've already thought about doing that, though. So good to see you again. It has been a rough week here in my house. Two sick kids and a sick husband. My youngest is still sick and 🤮. School for him starts Monday. 🫤 On the bright side, my sweater is nearly to the point where I split for the sleeve. Yay! I do understand how you are feeling with all that is going on with feeding your baby. It is a lot. Enjoy your delicious sandwich. So glad that Nova will be in school. My kids all loved school for the first few years. It will be good for you and for her.

Beautiful makes. I too receive meds through Fedex. I have not needed to but I have been told by the VA that if you have a shipment from Fedex and you call customer service and ask that it be prioritized for shipping. I’m not sure that milk from a store would qualify but I feel like if you state it’s for a baby with food allergies and it’s all he can eat maybe they can give it a priority internally without extra cost. I feel like they have discretionary power.

My sister has a pork allergy and it's definitely a tricky one! You don't realize what all has pork in it. You have totally got it under control though. Sending prayers and positive vibes while you guys transition from pumping, it was one of the hardest things I ever tried to do!

Loving all the socks. 😁 Sending you all the hugs and love. I remember the days that seemed like years when my kids were very young. It felt like it would never end. I hated it and the way I felt. It gets better. Take any time you can to give yourself alone time. I have started and ripped back and restarted my first sweater. It's a Flax Light. Hopefully I will actually have a sweater at the end. I am doing my best to not dwell on my mom and all the things she us dealing with daily. After over a year in two hospitals she was moved to an acute care facility. I rode with her in the transport vehicle from Lynchburg to Maryland. I hope this new place gives her all that she needs to get off the ventilator and to continue to gain movement in her arms and legs. I will probably not be able to visit her regularly like I did in Lynchburg. The new place is 6+ hours away. Plus, unlike Lynchburg, there is not a low cost place for me to spend the night. I know that the stage of motherhood you are in is so very hard. Please know that it does get better. I have been where you are. Now my kids are 19, 16, 10, & 7. They bring me so much joy. Yes, there are still hard things but overall it is good to be their mom.

You absolutely need me time, and colleagues to talk with. So glad you got to the conference even though you had to take the children. I would have given up on the trip, but you struggled through. Great job!! I am making premiere cotton collage socks. Shorties, and they seem to go so fast. The cotton makes them cooler for summer. I use a different knit/purl pattern each time so they aren't boring, but then I get off on my count.😊

You never cease to amaze me. Your color choices always spot on. Have a child with severe allergies is a monumental test of one being. My daughter(and now my 2 granddaughters) have sensativity to the sun. She akways broke outbin a horrendous heat rash everywhere the sun rays touched. My youngest granddaughters cheeks and chin turn beat red and the skin feels like eczema. We are on top of it now but wow. Currently I'm almost finished the Malmesbury sweater in Olive green. Ive been knitting socks like you because its just to hot!! Hang in there honey. You are a great mom.❤❤❤❤❤

I completely relate to hating barf. LOL When my daughter was a toddler I needed help from my husband to clean it up because it made me gag (and when he wasn't home to help, my grandma helped me). On a nicer note, I LOVE Fiber Optic Yarns! My friend and I went to their store in Milford (OH) on July 5 and I spent SO much money on their gorgeous yarn. I started making Stephen West's Stony Stream Shawl with some of it and it is just such a joy to work with. Her store is gorgeous and I can't wait to go back. I'm also working on tons of socks (Summer Sock Camp time!). I had started a pair of socks (a Stephen West pattern that I can't remember the name of right now) for the Lisa Frank MAL and my gauge was WAY off, so I frogged it and I found a different pattern to make (Little Boxes Socks by Summer Lee). Going to start them this weekend! Your shawl is going to be so beautiful. The colors make my heart sing.

You are so talented. Your work is beautiful. Wanted to let you know they can take 1 blood sample from Noah & do a huge food allergy panel. No skin testing needed. The blood testing is very accurate. My youngest daughter has horrendous allergies & is very allergic to pork. When she ate it her face would swell up. My poor girl, now 32 couldn't even do allergy shots because her reactions were so severe. She's also dangerously allergic to peanuts and has anaphylaxis. Tons of food allergies & tree, plant, and household allergies. She is also allergic to beef so she is actually a vegetarian now. She was allergic to Rice! The 1st cereal they tell you to give your baby. That caused her such bad eczema but we stopped it as soon as she had the food allergy testing. Your last video made me tear up. I absolutely understand what it's like to have a child with severe allergies. I have 2 of them. Both my daughters. Truly hope your lil man is feeling better. You seem happier which is nice to see. You are the best and such a good mama. Please know from the bottom of my heart you are great & enough. Anyone who is family or friends would be so lucky to have you in their life.
